What is the difference between Virgin and Steamed-Processed Indian Remy?

Virgin Indian Remy hair has never been processed and textures are 100% natural. No two full heads of hair are exactly alike, but all are beautiful. Select from Virgin Straight or Virgin Wavy Curl.

Steamed-Processed hair starts off as Virgin Indian Remy hair. It is then processed lightly with enzymes, steamed on setting rods to achieve the desired textures and patterns. Unlike virgin hair, we recommend that you not use heat appliances too often to straighten this textured because the hair pattern may not return to its texture that you purchased

What do the terms”bulk” and “weft” mean?

Bulk hair is loose hair that is used for braiding and many other hair extension styles. We deliver it tied in a bundle ready for use.

Machine Wefted hair is hair used for weaving. It is sewn or bonded (with hair glue) into a track ready for the weaving process.

How much hair is in a pound?

16 oz = 4 packs of hair.

How much hair will I need?

For a full head of weave or braids, the average person need about two packs of hair. You can always use the leftover hair later. If you are using hair over 18″ long, you might need a third pack. If you are getting fusion or micro linking you’ll need to consult your stylist.

What about lengths?

The below image shows where hair typical falls when installed. Curly and wavy hair is measured when pulled straight, so please add approximately 2-3 inches to your desired length when ordering.

What is Single Drawn Hair?

Every hair piece looks like a ponytail made of different lengths of hair. The very short hairs have been removed.

Can I color this hair?

You can color the virgin hair, however we strongly advise you to consult with a professional hair stylist when making any major color changes to the hair. Please note: Coloring Steamed Textured hair will straighten the pattern.
